Students can grant access to others under the Grant Access to Others tile on their MyTCU student homepage. This function will allow the student to create a username and password and email it directly to their parent or guardian for access.  If all checkboxes are marked, the parent/guardians will have access to financials, billing, records and holds (posted mid-semester U grades and posted final course grades), and relationship summaries.

Students may remove access to others by:

  • logging into their MyTCU account,
  • clicking on the Grant Access to Others tile,
  • choose the account to remove,
  • scroll down to Delete,
  • click Yes when the confirmation box pops up.

Students may choose to opt out of having their directory information released. To do this, log into MyTCU, click on the profile tile and scroll down to Privacy Restrictions. Click the FERPA flag to On and Save.
